Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: MAVEN-281
Summary: ${pom.id} has not the correct value
Type: Bug
Status: Assigned
Priority: Minor
Time Spent: Unknown
Estimate: 0 minutes
Project: maven
Component: core
Versions:
1.0-beta-8
Assignee: Jason van Zyl
Reporter: Henning Schmiedehausen
Created: Tue, 18 Feb 2003 5:09 AM
Updated: Tue, 18 Feb 2003 5:09 AM
Environment: Linux
Description:
Consider the attached maven.xml and project.xml files. According
to them,
${pom.id} should have the value "projectId".
But if you run maven on them, you get
% maven demo
__ __
| \/ |__ Jakarta _ ___
| |\/| / _` \ V / -_) ' \ ~ intelligent projects ~
|_| |_\__,_|\_/\___|_||_| v. 1.0-beta-8
demo:
[echo]
Name: projectName
Id: groupId:projectId
Group: groupId
BUILD SUCCESSFUL
Total time: 5 seconds
So the "id" contains also the value of the group id field.
