can we upgrade java@lsd to 1.4.2_04 from 1.4.2-b28 ?

We currently have this version of Java on gump :

java version "1.4.2"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2-b28)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2-b28, mixed mode)

Michael Glavassevich wrote that we should upgrade to :
JDK 1.4.2_04

which is actually present there :
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html

in order to be able to build xml-xerces1.
