Yarn Job Tracker UI showing negative numbers

Our Hadoop 2.7 job tracker web UI is showing negative numbers for Memory
used, vcores used etc when at rest and no jobs are running.

Right now it says -2 containers running and -7GB memory used.

This worries me. Someone please advise why this is happening and how to
rectify it?
