Configuring apache for tomcat

I would like to know how I can embed tomcat in my apache server.

I have installed apache, and it works fine.

I have installed tomcat, and it works fine as a standalone server.

I have written a HelloWorld servlet that works on tomcat. I would

like to see the steps on how I can get apache to talk to tomcat to

run the applet and display the result. Can anybody provide any help?
