[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-7856) Tidy up exception handling in AngularJS UI

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-7856?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14721530#comment-14721530 ]

Upayavira commented on SOLR-7856:
---------------------------------

I have noted these issues with exceptions in the angular UI:

* it doesn't handle core init failure display
* it displays the full JSON, not just the message
* when an exception shows, it doesn't ever clear unless you reload the entire page

> When exceptions occur, the Angular UI can still show a large stack trace rather than a nice error message. The angular UI needs to handle errors in a similar manner to the current UI.
