There will be users who do not have an IPv4 address as they run out
sometime in the very near future (can almost smell it). And there
will be servers who we can not assign an IPv4 address to as there
are none anymore.

We do have to switch to and support IPv6 *now*!

Nice. It looks like you have a tunnel with HE.

We also have v6 on our mirror (our transit is native via I2):

# host mirror.uoregon.edu
mirror.uoregon.edu has address 128.223.157.9
mirror.uoregon.edu has IPv6 address 2001:468:d01:103::80df:9d09

Ben, maybe you don't realise but you're spamming everyone else on the
list with your complaints, most of whom have no control over who
receives mail from the list. I can't say why you were subscribed but
I would imagine it was a deliberate request from you.

All you should need to do to get off the list is email
<mi...@apache.org> and look at for and act on a
confirmation mail you receive back.

Dominic.

Isn't it surprising that people subscribe to mailing lists, later
completely forget about this fact and even complain and show everyone
else that their shift key is stuck? I wonder if those people
also shoo their partners out of their house because they forgot
they married him/her.
