[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-10206) MIME Type for SHA256

Geoffrey Corey commented on INFRA-10206:
----------------------------------------

I have added sha256 ad a text/plain to the .htacces in www.apache.org/dist (and even tested to make sure it works). Once puppet runs (within the next hour or two) it will show the .sha256 files as text instead of bringing up a download window.

> Hi there,
> on the project download page https://myfaces.apache.org/tobago/download.html are links to *.sha256 files. When clicking on it in a browser, a "Save as..." dialog open.
> It would be better, when the Content-Type: text/plain will be send by the server, like *.md5 files. In that case browsers will display the content directly.
> I think this is to configure in the Apache HTTPD Configuration and it make sense to add this for all HTTPD servers of apache.org.
