array _and_ beans serialization...

Hello list,

First of all I'm not sure where it belong to, so excuse me for
crosspost...

is there a common way to serialize an array full of beans?  
The SOAP package contains an array serializer and a bean serializer but   
now I'm not sure to use the array-serializer.

Is there any example for this use-case available?
