   @lingocoder a first step as per your idea, for https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FINERACT-777 ... would you perhaps be interested in following-up to this and raise additional new PR(s) from you which does this for more other dependencies as well?  I recommend isolating small PRs and not mixing this effort (FINERACT-777) together with e.g. Java 11 or Spring upgrades (all of which we would certainly very much welcome your help with as well, in separate PRs!)
   
   @marta-jankovics @conradsp @awasum re. #617 #606 - merge this?  (This required #525, and is now ready.)
