This is a rather odd bug and I'm not sure how to debug it. I have an iOS app I'm developing for a university project. The app works, but only if I open up the iOS debugger window when trying to run the app in the iOS emulator. Otherwise, the app crashes with signal 9.

Application 'UIKitApplication:edu.washington.explane[0x8ef3]' exited abnormally via signal.
