Installation problem with Log4Net Dashboard 1.2: Object reference not set
to an instance of an object.
Dear mailing list,
I'm getting into troubles installing Log4Net Dashboard 1.2 on a Windows
2003 server that runs IIS 6.0 with .NET v1.1.4322.
After installing the software using the installation files from
http://www.l4ndash.com/Download/tabid/53/Default.aspx, the URL
http://localhost/l4ndash returns the following error:
Server Error in '/L4NDash' Application.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the
current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information
about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set
to an instance of an object.

The error does not seem to be connected to the web.config, as if the same
error occurs even if web.config is deleted.
Unfortunately, I have no idea why the error occurs, and couldn't find any
information on this mailling list.

Have you checked that the web server (IIS) has session handling enabled?
