I see the Vote link comments and got to know that lot of testing is being done on IBM semeru Java 17 but with the latest build zip link in the comments for TomEE I was not able to start it with OpenJDK17 or Oracle JDK17.
I have tested with IBM semeru Java 17 and I was able to start TomEE without above error.
Can the testing of TomEE 8.0.9 can also be done on OpenJDK 17 or oracle JDK 17 so that release can be sure of all the java variants.
