https://github.com/apache/cordova-mobile-spec/issues/159#issuecomment-443501693 shows createmobilespec.js returning an error on `cordova platform add ...`. But instead of stopping and throwing an error, it just continues and the following commands also fail - making it much harder to understand what is going on.
