Flow control
Hi,
Does Active MQ implements any flow control mechanism in case of slow
consumers?
Thanks.

There's no real requirement for flow control when dealing with slow
consumers on queues or durable topics. For queues, the consumers
compete with each other; so slow consumers just won't get many
messages and the fast consumers will consume more. For durable topics
we can discard messages from RAM as they are persisted to disk.
Its mostly for non-durable topics where we need to deal with a slow consumer.

Yes. Which quality of service are you talking about BTW? queues/topics
and durable/non-durable?
I guess you're talking about non-durable topics?
