[jira] [Created] (IGNITE-29081) SQL Calcite: Support custom Java types in UDF and UDTF parameters and results
Kirill Tkalenko created IGNITE-29081:
----------------------------------------
Summary: SQL Calcite: Support custom Java types in UDF and UDTF parameters and results
Key: IGNITE-29081
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IGNITE-29081
Project: Ignite
Issue Type: Bug
Reporter: Kirill Tkalenko
Assignee: Kirill Tkalenko
Support custom Java objects and {{BinaryObject}} in UDF and UDTF parameters and results, including parameters declared as {{{}Object{}}}, {{{}Number{}}}, and {{{}Serializable{}}}.
Currently, these types may cause SQL validation or generated code compilation failures due to incorrect type inference and argument conversion. Custom objects in UDTF result columns may also be incorrectly interpreted as SQL records.
Ensure correct type mapping and argument conversion, and add integration tests covering these cases.
