Just a quick note about Apache releases (relative to the Slider vote).

Officially, all Apache releases are source only.

Binary releases are not really releases, but simply conveniences for users.  It is good to scrutinize them carefully, but they are not what Apache really releases.

You may well know this already, but it doesn't hurt to use precise language in the call for votes.
