MS client to Apache server

To make a request from MS SOAP client to Apache SOAP server,
do I need to provide WSDL for Apache server to specify the service
location or ...?  Is there any other way we may accomplish this without
using WSDL for the server side, if so, what will it be?
Please advise.  Thanks.
