GEP 2.2.0 really slow

I'm trying to develop an EAR on Eclipse Helios using Geronimo 2.2 and GEP 2.2.0 hosted on 64 bit open SUSE.

To deploy the EAR using the Geronimo console takes ~40 secs. Using GEP is taking ~5 mins 40 secs.

Any help appreciated,

This problem has been fixed with this JIRA:
