[jira] Updated: (TIKA-371) Excel formatting depends on the default locale

Jukka Zitting updated TIKA-371:
-------------------------------

    Attachment: TIKA-371.patch

See https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=48617 for the POI bug I filed about this. Assuming the proposed POI patch is accepted, we can solve the Tika issue by applying the patch attached here after upgrading to a new POI version.

> The solution to TIKA-103 is pretty nice, but the output unfortunately depends on the current default locale. It would be nicer if the formatting respected the locale set in the parse context and used the default locale only when a specific locale is not explicitly given. It looks like this functionality needs to be added also in POI.
