[jira] [Commented] (UIMA-3006) DUCC webserver (WS) - how to
configure authentication
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-3006?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13687903#comment-13687903 ]
Lou DeGenaro commented on UIMA-3006:
------------------------------------
Add to interface IAuthenticationManager method: public boolean isPasswordChecked();
This will allow the web server (WS) to enable/disable password input field on login page, and in the case of disablement to give hover message: Authenticator does not check password. (As suggested by Burn)

> Need a small section describing how to configure Web Server Authentication, including something about the API. This should be a subsection in part 4 , chapter 13, Administration, including something about the class you have to implement and the ducc.property you have to set.
