Summary: mod_dav shows Mac system(hidden) files in some other
platforms (Win)
Product: Apache httpd-2.0
Version: 2.0.54
Platform: Macintosh
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: mod_dav
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: xuphey@gmail.com
Here is the symptom from whom has the same problem I had
=======
I'm using mod_dav with Apache 2 - in a mixed windows and macosx
and linux environment. Files uploaded from Macs also upload
an associated .file which is often the preview of an image etc.
Sensibly on the mac you don't see these 'hidden files' - you just see the
main files. But windowsXP seems to show all dot files (includeing
.htaccess!) even though these are denied by the server config.
=======
So I solved this problem, the patch will be uploaded soon.
