Three issues were seen when fixing this issue:
a) Invalid path of primary storage is resulting in NPE
b) No error dialog is showing up in GUI because the storage management layer isn't propagating the exception upward.
c) If the KVM cloud agent on the KVM host is down, and an attempt is made to add primary storage, the primary storage is failing to be added as expected, but is getting entered into the database in the storage_pool table, so it shows up in the GUI as well.
Working on the fixes for these. Will update bug with review board link once the fixes are ready.
