Many thanks, all, for your guidance.  [~gmcdonald] I so appreciate the offer, and I will bring it up to the PMC.  Is there a form / boilerplate for such a proposed special vote to the Board ([~clr])? And thank you for the perspective that we're not quite dead yet ...

And since we can only raise two PMC members for votes, it seems inevitable that the project is going to the Attic *soon*. So, the question is:  once the project goes to the Attic, what are my options for continuing work?  For instance, could I "fork" it then to Github?  If so, what must I do regarding copyright, license, product name, package names, etc.? Is there a resource somewhere that talks about this? Has anyone gone down this path before? And is this even the right place to ask these questions?
