[Bug 3708] New: Denial of Service in Spamassassin 2.64 (non-ASF)
http://bugzilla.spamassassin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3708
Summary: Denial of Service in Spamassassin 2.64 (non-ASF)
Product: Spamassassin
Version: 2.64
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: critical
Priority: P5
Component: spamassassin
AssignedTo: spamassassin-dev@incubator.apache.org
ReportedBy: bugzilla@mitchellandmitchell.com
I've got a mailpack which will cause spamassassin to eat up all avaliable ram
(500+ megs) in our server and then just sit there with a D status forever more.
(never exiting, or erroring out). This causes the server to stop responding.
The mailpack size is 4 megs. The contents of the e-mail is confidential, so I'm
not quite sure how to proceed here as far as how to troubleshoot, or whom I can
trust to forward the mailpack to.
