[jira] Created: (MASSEMBLY-458) Directory name resolution ignores "$" and beyond

Directory name resolution ignores "$" and beyond
------------------------------------------------

                 Key: MASSEMBLY-458
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MASSEMBLY-458
             Project: Maven 2.x Assembly Plugin
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 2.1
         Environment: Fedora 12, Intel x86
            Reporter: Shantanu Kumar
         Attachments: jettify.tar.bz2

When assembling sources, the directory name containing "$" is read incorrectly. For example, "abc$def" is read as "abc". This is causing path resolution problems. Please try creating assemblies from the attached project (it is Open Source under Apache 2 license).
