We are planning to use Superset to visualize our data stored in the database (Postgre). We are in the process of building an API, like a middleware between UI and database and expose it to third parties, so that we can cater to our clients with their own UI interface.
I personally want to connect Superset through the API as well. Can you please help me making a better choice as to whether should we go through API or connect directly to the database? Are there any performance implications with respect to Superset?(not considering the latency issues of the API, purely Superset performance implications)
Also, can you please point me in the direction to make the API available as a data source in Superset.
