Anybody else on: GPL+CPE in Snap distributions? (LEGAL-497)
Dear all,
Based on the conversation on LEGAL-497, I'd assume it is Ok to get
Apache NetBeans along AdoptOpenJDK as a bundle throughout Canonical's
Snap store, as of Apache NetBeans as publisher and Caconical as
distributor. We just need to mark the source of the sources and binaries
of AdoptOpenJDK.
Anyone else would confirm?

The summary is that, license-wise, it seems possible for the Apache
Netbeans to be a Developer making binaries available on Snap store, however
it is against ASF policy. That policy is owned by the board and not the
legal pmc.
(I'll note that this doesn't include consideration of whatever is in the
T&C of the Snap store; just the AdoptOpenJDK licensing).
