[VOTE] Vote For Acceptance Of Maven Build System

Hi,

For the past few months I have been working on the migration of the Cactus
build system from Ant
to Maven. Anyway I needed a place to test my work, so I created a repository
on the sourceforge [1].
However, because of the fact that the source code went out of the Apache
repositories, we need an
aceptance vote, and eventually move it in the incubator, where we can
continue the development
of the build system.

I know that the code in [1] is far from production quality, and there is a
lot to be done, but I think that we
are on the right way, so here is my

+1

Hi Petar,

We tend to close votes with the subject line [VOTE] [RESULT] (or the other way around) and
differentiate between binding and non binding votes.

The thing is that you need at least 3 +1 from PMC members to get a vote like this passed, so for
easier oversight we differentiate between them.

All right,

I think that there was enough time for all that are interested to
cast their vote, so to tsummon up:
[RESULTS]
with
5 (five) +1s and
0 (zero) -1s
the vote is closed and accepted.

Thank you everyone for voting, and have a nice day.

+1 !

Extra note : please ping me (mvdb at apache org) if the vote finishes, so I can finish up the
incubator legal clearance and start a vote there (on general@incubator.apache.org) After the vote
starts there will be a 72 hours wait and acceptance will be based on lazy consensus!
(Which means that if no one objects, you can start importing the code).

+1 too even though I haven't been active for ages and I should
probably be removed from the committer list...

Thanks
-Vincent

PS: I haven't read of checked the code in [1] but I'm happy to see
the traction started by Petar to revive Cactus.
