WML Encoding and Bad Characters
Dear All
at the moment we are currently setting up a WAP version of out site. When we
got our WAP Gateway online we could view static WML pages without error.
But, dynamic pages generated by Tomcat JSP pages returns a "malformed
content" error when viewed through the Gateway. Interestingly, the WML
compiles perfectly on the WAP SDK I am using to test my pages. On examining
the output from Tomcat (including headers) I noticed several strange
characters at the start and end of the WML page for example:
> Content-Type: text/vnd.wap.wml
>
> 6ff
> ... actual content excluded for brevity
Has anyone else had problems with odd characters being emitted from Tomcat?
If so are they aware of a solution? Yours gratefully...
