Passing a bean in a link???
Hi all,
I need help passing a bean to a popup that would be a jsp page.
I want to use something like the following in place of the a href below.
I have two problems,
1) how do I pass the account bean
2) If I can pass it, it is available for <bean write...>
<html:link href="/middleware/test.jsp" name="id">Test ME</html:link>
When I use the above, I get argument value to large..jsp error.
<logic:iterate id="addressAccount" name="ChangeAddressForm"
property="accountAddressTreeMap" indexId="index">
<bean:define id="address" name="addressAccount"
property="value"
type="com.data.valueobjects.AddressVO" />
<bean:define id="account" name="addressAccount" property="key"
type="com.data.valueobjects.AccountVO"/>
<tr>
<td>
<a href="/middleware/test.jsp"
onclick="NewWindow(this.href,'success','200','200','yes','center');return
false" onfocus="this.blur()">
<bean:write name="account" property="accountNumber"
filter="true"/>
</a>
</td>
</tr>
</logic:iterate>

You can't pass a bean through the request. What you'll need to do is store
the bean as a session attribute that the popup JSP page retrieves (and
removes).
