How do you do onSubmit() using html:form

Can't seem to get an onSubmit() form handler to work (much less compile)
using
html:form.

Works great though when using the standard html <form>

Can someone show me how to call a Javascript method prior to "submit" when
using the html
form?

Another alternative (I guess) would be to add a click handler for the submit
button!
