[jira] [Created] (SAMZA-155) hello-samza should try and
automatically set JAVA_HOME
Chris Riccomini created SAMZA-155:
-------------------------------------
Summary: hello-samza should try and automatically set JAVA_HOME
Key: SAMZA-155
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SAMZA-155
Project: Samza
Issue Type: Bug
Reporter: Chris Riccomini
Right now, in the docs, we say if you're running Mac OSX and JAVA_HOME isn't set, you can run:
{noformat}
export JAVA_HOME=$(/usr/libexec/java_home)
{noformat}
We should just check if that exists, and do it automatically if the JAVA_HOME environment variable isn't set.
