[jira] [Commented] (CB-10218) Support installation of Targets in the iOS platform

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-10218?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16908459#comment-16908459 ]

Josh Kasten commented on CB-10218:
----------------------------------

[~shazron] Adding built in support for iOS "App Extensions" in Cordova would simply the setup process for a number of SDKs / Plugins. It is also a pain point to have to redo the manual steps when a clean build of a Cordova app is needed.

Manual Xcode steps can also not be performed on Adobe PhoneGap Build (PGB) so having this feature mean this build system could be supported. https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2190409

[~shazron] I am sure the Cordova dev team has a number of feature asks and fixes to keep up with but there hasn't been an update on this issue for a while. Would de-scoping this request help make some progress? Perhaps just supporting only the top few "App Extensions" targets? Or perhaps a ticket to implementing just the underlying work?
