Apache Ambari-2.next release planning
Folks,
I feel, its time for us to start the release planning for the next 2.x release for Ambari.
This is little sooner than what we have done for prior releases but with several big ticket items being worked on trunk, it makes sense to start sooner and decide on a date for creating the branch and then a duration for stabilizing features on the branch.
This will free up the trunk for features being planned 1-2 releases out and help us stabilize the branch faster.
Any volunteers for the release manager role?
thanks
Sumit
