Losing my session cookie

Hello,

I have a SOAP client that makes several calls to multiple SOAP services. 
For the operations in question, session state is critical. I've noticed 
that the HTTP requests coming from the client all have the JSESSIONID 
cookie, but that the cookie isn't present in the second HTTP response. 
Does anyone know why it would disappear from the responses but stick 
around in the requests?
