Character encoding

Sorry if this has been discussed before.

I have forms that may contain UK charset data such as the GB pound sign. How can I use setCharacterEncoding to read these chars
properly? At the moment they come through as question marks. I don't know the UK character set code either.

Any help is much appreciated

Weird.

OK, here is what I am trying to do:

I have a form encoded as multipart because I am also uploading some files. If this form is submitted as POST then GBP signs are
parsed as ?.

If i send the form GET, then the GBP signs are fine?????

What's this about?? Any ideas?
