[jira] [Updated] (MESOS-337) New Logo for Mesos Project

Chris Aniszczyk updated MESOS-337:
----------------------------------

    Attachment: mesoslogoideas.png

Here were some ideas for the logo from an initial cut.

The logo on the left is inspired by gravity waves. They are the mechanism for the transport of momentum from the troposphere to the stratosphere (through the mesosphere). Critical to large scale momentum and energy balance.

The logo on the right is inspired by boxes/bins. Three dimensional bins used to represent the idea of cluster management.

We should use this as a stepping stone for the direction we want to go in. Let us know what you think!

> Within Twitter, we have a designer graciously offering time to help out with a logo.
> It would be nice if we could involve the community in this process. What do people have in mind for what a mesos logo should look like?
