I wrote some CVS guidelines for use within Demon but I thought they
could be more generally useful so I got permission to publish them
more widely. They are at http://www.apache.org/~fanf/cvs-guidelines.html

Just a short comment: IMHO using $Id$ is better than $Header$ as $Id$ has
more information.
