region-before with columns
I've a template which it's giving me headaches as i can't seam to find a way
to implement it with fop...
I've a region-before in a page with 2 columns defined. My only problem is
that i need that the region-before to ocupy only the area of the 1st column
and allow text to flow into it's "position" to the second column... as it
shows in the image below...

Same thing here, but then I viewed the post at nabble, and if you
follow the link over there, it does show what Luis is trying to achieve.
Unfortunately, I've no idea on how this can be done in XSL-FO.
If the static-content does not use retrieve-marker, I guess the
content could be moved into a block-container that only takes up the
width of the first column...

Luis, that link doesn't point to an image and the image could probably
help us understand what you're trying to do.

Yeah, you can't do this with XSL-FO. If you have a layout that lets you
know where you have page breaks, you can let the region-before overlap
with the region-body and use space-before on the first block of a page.
But that's probably a long shot.
