[users@httpd] Cannot Start using EAPI

I am compiling Apache 1.3.27 on a Slowlaris 7 server (virtually 
unpatched in fact), and I have been experiencing a problem with the 
compilation of the Apache software on the server whenever the EAPI is 
configured for the Application.

Here's the Results of the Startup command, when it fails:

#  /usr/local/apache.new/bin/apachectl start
Syntax error on line 205 of /usr/local/apache.new/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/local/apache.new/libexec/mod_mmap_static.so into server: ld.so.1: /usr/local/apache.new/bin/httpd: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/local/apache.new/libexec/mod_mmap_static.so: symbol ap_null_cleanup: referenced symbol not found
/usr/local/apache.new/bin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started


This is the Configure Command for the Failed Installation:

 ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache.new --enable-module=so --enable-module=all --enable-shared=max --enable-rule=EAPI

If I change the Configuration Line to the following, the Daemon will 
startup, but the configuration files no longer use the AddModule 
Commands (is this correct?).

 ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache.new --enable-module=so

Any Suggestions?
