getting the datagrid state for the current grid

Is there any way to get the current datagrid from the request?

I am trying to impement the sort functionality as a sort action in the Base Pageflow Controller

We can get the DataGrid state by using the datagrid name. I am trying to get the current datagrid from the request and sort it
