[jira] [Commented] (ARROW-84) C++: separate test codes

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-84?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15214356#comment-15214356 ]

Wes McKinney commented on ARROW-84:
-----------------------------------

I don't agree with this. This is pretty standard practice in many projects following the Google C++ style. See Kudu and Impala, for example. https://github.com/apache/incubator-kudu/tree/master/src/kudu

> Currently test codes reside with normal codes together. Not sure if it's a good practice in C++, but guess it would be much clean to separate the test codes out into a {{test}} folder.
