Xerces-J v.1.3.1

The documentation says that FOP will not work with Xerces-J v.1.3.0 because
of a bug in Xerces. Does anybody know if that bug was fixed in the v.1.3.1
release? We are installing FOP on a production server this weekend and we
would love to go with the 1.3.1 version if everything is OK now.
