[jira] [Created] (CB-4512) Add links to any native documentation re: settings

Filip Maj created CB-4512:
-----------------------------

Summary: Add links to any native documentation re: settings
                 Key: CB-4512
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-4512
             Project: Apache Cordova
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Docs
    Affects Versions: Master
            Reporter: Filip Maj
            Assignee: Michael Brooks
            Priority: Minor

Under platform guides, we currently have different sub-guides: CLI, plugins, and one called Settings. Settings include different <preference> elements you can add to different platforms that tweak the behaviour of the webview.

The combination of certain preferences for certain platforms together with lack of consistent support across platforms for them can lead to confusion. For example, you can lock screen orientation on cordova-ios with a preference. You cannot do that on Android. Instead, on Android, you tweak AndroidManifest.xml content to do the same thing.

I think it would be prudent to, at a minimum, link to various native configuration documentation to allow users to further explore.
