[jira] [Created] (SSHD-532) Environment variables not set
Matt Kusnierz created SSHD-532:
----------------------------------
Summary: Environment variables not set
Key: SSHD-532
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SSHD-532
Project: MINA SSHD
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 0.13.0
Reporter: Matt Kusnierz
Calling org.apache.sshd.client.channel.PtyCapableChannelSession.setEnv(String, String) on a org.apache.sshd.client.channel.ChannelShell doesn't seem to work as (I) expected. I would have thought this should set environment variables in the remote ssh session; but this doesn't seem to happen. Trying to access environment variables from a (java) process run in this ssh session don't see the environment variables as having been set/exported. Either this doesn't work, or I am using it incorrectly, and in which case, it could do with some better javadoc to explain how it should be used.
