Bug ID: 124225
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: ODG created by external program: OK with warning under
LibreOffice 3.60, unreadable under LO 4.x
Product: Draw
Version: 4.1.0-dev
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: critical

An example of polybezier / polylines (svg:path) using styles
This attachment is a example of ODG file generated by external program and
containing polybezier curves.
This document is readable by LibreOffice 3.60. Loading sends warning (risk of
corruption) but it displayed correctly, with user defined styles
Under LO 4.x, the same file is unreadable. After displaying filter dialogbox,
loading fails with 'General I/O error' message.

--- Comment #1 from Rainer Bielefeld <ra...@bielefeldundbuss.de> ---
Well, that's a document with file name extension .odg, but not an ODF document,
see attached validator results.
The reported effect is NOT reproducible with server installation of "AOO
4.1.0-Dev – English UI / German locale - [AOO410m1(Build:9750) - Rev. 1566800 -
2014-02-12]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile:
1. From AOO start Center (AOO-) menu 'File -> Open' open reporter#s sample
> A "Document Corrupted" message appears, asks "Should OO repair?"
2. [Yes]
> Document will be opened
Additional Info:
----------------
(a) "GHTopo":
<http://siliconcavings.chez-alice.fr/Hades4Toporobot.htm>
(I did not find a real Homepage or similar)
(b) It's a question whether AOO should have ambition to open such damaged
documents or whether there is to do more important stuff.
@reporter:
Thank you for your feedback – unfortunately important information we will
need to reproduce your problem is missing.
Please (for the sake of completeness) add all information requested in
following:
e) if possible contribute an instruction how to create a sample document
from the scratch
f) add information
f3) concerning your PC
f4) concerning your Operating System (Version, Distribution, Language)
f5) concerning your AOO version (with Build/revision ID if it's not a
public release) and localization (UI language, Locale setting)
f6) AOO settings that might be related to your problems
(video hardware acceleration, ...)
f7) how you launch AOO and how you opened the sample document
f8) Whether your problem persists after you have renamed your user profile
(Quit Quickstart before!) before you launch AOO (please see
<http://www.openoffice.org/development/releases
Please do not cite these hints in your reply, but cite the items like:
f7): Desktop-icon for soffice.exe / AOO File menu -> Open

@Elish:
* Screenshot: looks identical for me, I can't say whether that's the intended
view
* Damned, yes, I completely missed the fact that reporter only mentions
LibO, but nowhere AOO. Thx for closing!
