[Issue 128271] New: After Open Office has updated, User Settings are
reset
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=128271
Issue ID: 128271
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: After Open Office has updated, User Settings are reset
Product: Writer
Version: 4.1.6
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows 10
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 (lowest)
Component: ui
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: dbpdw@aikq.de
Target Milestone: ---
Hi,
I have experienced several times that once Open Office has updated to a newer
version, all my user settings and customisations are reset. For instance, I
usually have a lot of taskbars attached to the upper bar, e.g. the table
taskbar. Once the update has been completed, the taskbars are gone. That also
applies to custom colours (e.g. font colours) that I created before. They are
gone.

Which version did you have before update?
This behavior is not typical and AOO profile is kept in updating process.
Could you explain us by a step-by-step procedure what you did?
