zhztheplayer opened a new pull request #5997: Add maxIdleTime option to EventReceiverFirehose
URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-druid/pull/5997

   Currently Druid provides two ways to shutdown an EventReceiverFirehose:

   1. Send http shutdown request to it;
   2. Wrap firehose with TimedShutoffFirehose. (Tranquility's way)

   So if an EventReceiverFirehose is created to be long run (without TimedShutoffFirehose wrapped), and its close depends on the http shutdown requests sended from a remote client, in this case, if remote client is down unexpectedly without sending any shutdown request to the firehose, the firehose will keep idle and could be never closed.

   This PR is to add a timeout option (maxIdleTime) to make EventReceiverFirehose close itself after no events reveived for a period of time.

   The value of option maxIdleTime has the unit millisecond, and it is defaulted to Long.MAX_VALUE, which means if no maxIdleTime is explicitly specified, firehose never closes itself even if it is in idle.
