Newbie URI or registration problem? Please Help!

I have a jar file eMatrixServletRMI.jar that I put in $CATALINA_HOME/lib.
It should be loaded by the shared class loader.  The jar file contains a
servlet com.matrixone.servlet.CWIServlet.class.  What URI do I use to run
the servlet?  I tried http://localhost:8080/CWIServlet and various other
combinations of the package and class names. I assume these are reloaded in
the default / context.  I haven't been successful registering the jar file
using the manager.  I have no trouble running the example servlets that are
registered as /examples.
