   An experimental Spanner IO has been added a while back to Python SDK, however there are some concerns about it's stability and it's very much use at your own risk. 
   
   @johnjcasey should we repurpose this issue to deprecate the existing Spanner IO and switch to the x-lang implementation that will use the (stable) Spanner IO in Java SDK?  Or is that effort tracked separately?
